Data deletion

The quickest way

  • Email hello@magicrelay.com and we delete everything within 30 days.
  • Or remove Magic Relay in Facebook, Instagram or another platform's settings, as below.

You can also remove Magic Relay from inside a platform's own settings:

  • Facebook: Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites. Find Magic Relay and choose Remove.
  • Instagram: Settings, then Apps and websites. Find Magic Relay and choose Remove.
  • Threads, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and Reddit: open the connected or authorized apps section of your account settings and remove Magic Relay.

If you ask Facebook to delete the data Magic Relay holds about you, Facebook tells us, and we disconnect your Facebook, Instagram and Threads accounts and delete their data right away. Facebook then gives you a confirmation code you can use to check that it's done.

Email hello@magicrelay.com from the address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request". We'll confirm we received it, delete your data within 30 days and email you when it's done.

  • Posts you already published stay on the platform. Delete them there if you want them gone.
  • Our providers' encrypted backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule, so deleted data is gone from them within 30 days.
  • We may keep specific records longer when the law requires it.
